Very slow lunch meal service and only two tables being served, so NOT a busy day. Waitress was fast, but meal came SLOW! We were over charged by a least a dollar or more on 3 out of 4 items, then corrections were slow and incorrect. YES, a simple less than $20 dollar ticket and we were charged $25 plus on the ticket. Ironically, the lunch menu pricing was very simple and we joked it made it easy for wait staff, and cashier to remember (apparently for us as well, otherwise I would have never noticed the "errors" at checkout). Anyhow, club sandwich meal not worth repeating. Little corn bread bites were best part of the meal and visit. Sorry E.M.T., and the only reason it wasn't a 1 star was because waitress was very friendly and apologetic, we gave her $5 cash tip for her service. Unfortunate happening since we work walking distance to the tavern and was hoping for another regular lunch spot. 😑

This place is great. It's small and has a lot of appeal . The food is excellent. Service was terrific. They have a couple of unique takes on food all of which we thoroughly enjoyed the corn bread is ridiculous. Don't miss it.

Awesome Food Wings are best around for sure, ribs are on point, daily lunch and dinner specials and a full bar, draft and bottle beer, wine ect.

Best place to eat in Forest City. We eat here at least once a week. Roast beef sandwich and beef tips are our favorite.

Hamburgers and sandwiches. Not bad, but if you're looking for something without meat, low sodium or low fat you're going to be out of luck.

We visited on a beautiful evening so decided to sit outside. However after we received our drinks and an appetizer, we were totally forgotten about. We even said while ordering the appetizer we were going to also order dinner. Our server never returned, after a substantial amount of time and empty glasses, we had to go inside to find someone to get our bill so we could pay our tab and go somewhere else to get dinner.

I've eaten here three times over the past year when visiting the area. They have the best, what we call "home cooking". First visit was great, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Immediately started telling everyone how good this place was. On the second visit I had pot roast that was to die for! So tender and juicy, shredded and over mashed potatoes. Two additional sides. Third visit had the same, was still excellent but not as mind blowing as previous. Friends and family have been equally impressed. Oh and the service has been very good also.
